Sight Unseen
Exhibition Design
Sight Unseen OFFSITE is a nomadic design fair inhabiting a different location each year. It combines works by the best and brightest independent design studios with those from established, forward-thinking brands to create a must-see destination for industry professionals and design lovers alike.
Field Experiments (FE) is the nomadic design collective of Benjamin Bryant, Karim Zariffa and Paul Marcus Fuog of U-P. FE uses collaborative making to explore diverse cultures and craft communities in different regions around the world. Underpinned by cross-cultural exchange, Field Experiments produce projects, products and ideas across multiple formats including furniture, clothing, video works, publications, exhibitions, interiors, installation and printed materials.
Field Experiments exhibited its Indonesian project (a collection of around 100 souvenirs) at Sight Unseen OFFSITE in New York City in 2014. The exhibition drew its design from traditional Balinese markets.
